[spaces] began in 2006 as a collaborative effort between Trinity Western University's many-splendoured disciplines. It was spear-headed by a few determined students who aspired to create space for dialogue, where we might address and reflect on the spaces in which we find ourselves, whether those spaces remove us from the known, return us to the oft-visited, or take us somewhere "in-between." The inaugural issue hit shelves in 2007 and was well-received by the communities both at TWU and beyond. Since then, 9 more successful rounds of [spaces] have been published.
